Hello,
My names is James and this is my first post here. I have made a new video with my partner, Mike, about AA and anonymity - as we all know anonymity was only ever meant to protect the fellowship and not the member.

I trust you are all well.

I agree, James and Mike. One
I agree, James and Mike. One of the very first things that happened to me when I first tried to get sober was an AA member blew up my anonymity. When I complained about it, I was told I didn't have the right to be anonymous.

I really hope one day I meet
I really hope one day I meet all these people and groups you reference all the time, C&E. I am serious. I can understand JR, being off the wall with his posts, because he never was a member of AA but you were. I am just befuddled by some of your comments.
The only thing I can ascertain is, the comments are coming from excited outbursts instigated by arguments you have had with people while you were in AA. You are a bit of a spit fire....lol. I wouldn't want to tangle with you in a back ally, that's for sure.
James, is expressing an opinion he has. In reality this is far from the truth. AA needed to have it's members protected or they would leave. In order to help facilitate the advancement of homegroups, AA needed members that were educated, management material, leaders etc....these people usually had positions that if known they were closet drunks, they would be fired or at the very least ostracized. Remember we are talking small town/cities, rural America, or neighborhoods in larger cities who had their own little nuclear societies which everyone knew each other.
The anti members here have always given Bill much more promotion then he deserved.

Precisely. I don't
Precisely. I don't understand being told that anonymity didn't apply to the members. In part, it comes from people having such awful opinions of drunks in the day that people might not reach out for help.

AA says it loathes being called out in the press and media, but
AA says it loathes being called out in the press and media, but it loves advertizing at every chance it gets for new prospects in the news and media. The news outlets are now starting to report the adverse reactions of being in the cult of Alcoholics Anonymous, which is not what AAWS or GSO want. Media such as YouTube is an excellent choice to expose the problems in AA and I commend your actions. Various documentaries are in the works is response to the propaganda inspired documentaries of "Bill W" by Page124productions (i.e. The newest documentary of Bill W to be released May 18, 2012 by Page124 Productions- nothing new, same old bs http://orange-papers.org/forum/node/1451) and it will be interesting.
"Tradition 10 - Alcoholics Anonymous has no opinion on outside issues; hence the AA name ought never be drawn into public controversy." Please follow orders from the Interchurch Center if you are an AA member and don't comment.

AA is a religious cult dressed up to look like a treatment for alcoholism.
