Stanton Peele article on the death of Whitney

That was quick.

Unlike most of the media, some of us did not find the death of Whitney Houston to be shocking or surprising.

The deception of the recovery industry is about to consume itself

The deafening silence of the medical, scientific, and academic communities regarding the faulty 'disease' model of addiction is beginning to be noticed.

There is a backlash now to the over diagnosing, the shoehorning of behaviors, into 'diseases' undoubtedly so the rivers of big insurance money will be diverted to the managers, or controllers (never curers) of these new 'diseases'

Shyness, grief, and SERIAL RAPE have popped up in the new DSM manual, as 'diseases'

Making a counter point to the theology of the AA faith

You too can protest!

I was thinking of making some counter point criticism of the AA faith, and copying them on cheap colored paper, perhaps even with a logo containg a triangle and a circle.

I thought it might be fun to have an assistant mix these in with the propaganda pamphlets promoting the AA faith commonly available at meetings, ERs, courtroom waiting areas etc. where the AA faith normally recruits.

The shunning of Thomas Szasz

I have always viewed Thomas Szasz as the Ron Paul of psychology, with particular interest to those of us critical of the AA faith and the recovery industry.

Both have been basically written off by society as crazy, yet having balls of steel to call it the way it is, and generally right in the calling BS on the misinformation promoted by mainstream channels.

I was told in another forum even mentioning the name Thomas Szasz could kill alcoholics.

Breaking news.. Christopher Hitchens has died.

The world has lost a great man that taught us how to think rather than what to think.
